A significant character from season 3 of Game of Thrones has reportedly been recast with another actor for season 4.

Ed Skerin, who played Daario Naharis, the warrior who pledged his allegiance to Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) in season 3, will be giving up his role.

Enstars reported Thursday that Michiel Huisman would be playing a role in season 4, and according to a Friday report by The Hollywood Reporter, he will be the one to play Daario. Details on why the Daario character has been recast are unknown.

News that Huisman would be on the new season of Game of Thrones came from the actor himself, who shared a picture of himself on Instagram of him working out in preparation for the show.

Daario is the second Game of Thrones character to be recast recently. Enstars previously reported that Tommen Baratheon, little brother to Joffrey (Jack Gleason), will have a different actor playing him in season 4.

Actor Callum Wharry portrayed Tommen in the series' first two seasons but it was recently announced that he was being recast for season 4. Dean-Charles Chapman, who already appeared on the series as Martyn Lannister in season 3, will now play the part. Martyn was one of the Lannister kids murdered by Rickard Karstark.

Season 4 of Game of Thrones is set to premiere in Spring 2014 but an official premiere date has not yet been scheduled.
