America's Got Talent judge Howie Mandel revealed his prediction for which act he thinks will win the show's current season.

Writing for his weekly column for Parade, Mandel said that one of the singing acts that performed on Tuesday night's show will likely win the competition this year.

"I believe Forte could win the competition," Mandel wrote, of the opera trio. "Are they my favorite? Not necessarily. Are they great? Yes. They are powerful. I think the power of all three of them in that room-and hopefully it resonates at home-the power of their harmonies is just so emotionally moving."

Forte, an opera trio that met through the Internet just days before their audition, has been a frontrunner since the beginning of the season. Singing classics like Somewhere from West Side Story and Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers, they have received rave reviews from the judges and have advanced to the top 12 from America's votes.

"Not that I'm one that relies on backstory, but the fact that these are three people who came together on the Internet, and this is probably their third big show together-it's amazing that they've reached this level of expertise," Mandel continued. "They look like people who've been in the business for years."
