Batman might be getting a love interest in the highly anticipated superhero film Man of Steel 2.

Warner Bros. is allegedly looking to cast a female to share the screen with Ben Affleck's Batman/Bruce Wayne, according to a Wednesday report by Latino Review. The report claims that the producers want Batman's love interest to be in her late '20s and are open to all ethnicities.

The producers are also looking for the actress to be tall and have a certain physicality to her, to match Affleck, who is 6'4". The report suggests Charlize Theron or Adrianne Palicki as the type of woman the producers are looking for.

In other Man of Steel 2 news, the Internet was buzzing when pop star Justin Timberlake suggested his interest in playing The Riddler, one of Batman's most recognized villains, in the upcoming superhero movie.

In a press conference for his new film Runner, Runner, Timberlake addressed those comments and denied having any real interest in portraying the villain.

"Something I said recently got completely, not surprisingly, misinterpreted," Timberlake said, referring to the headlines suggesting that he wanted to play The Riddler. "But no, I have no desire to be any type of superhero. I could never live up to those types of standards."

Very little is known about the plot of Man of Steel 2. The film, which hasn't even begun production yet, stars Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Russell Crowe as Jor-El.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 17, 2015.
