Betty White has been honored with the title of the "Longest TV career for an Entertainer (Female)" by the Guinness Book of World Records 2014.

The 91-year-old will be featured in the 2014 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records which will hit shelves on Sept. 12. The category, which was previously not gender specific, was changed to celebrate White's 74-year-long career in the entertainment industry. English TV host and entertainer, Bruce Forsyth -- whose career also spans 74 years -- holds the male title.

White started working in the entertainment industry in 1939; she was 17. During her initial years, she worked as a model and a theater actor, moving onto radio with shows like Blondie and This is Your FBI. Eventually she landed her own radio show, the Betty White Show. She got her first television job co-hosting Hollywood on Television (KLAC) with Al Jarvis. In 1952, she took over the show as Jarvis left. She moved from success to success and her celebrity only got bigger as she starred in shows like Life With Elizabeth, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Golden Girls, and The Bold and The Beautiful.

White has won various awards like the Emmys, SAG Awards, and Grammys. SAG honored White with a lifetime achievement award in 2010. Even at 91, White is showing no signs of stopping. Last year, White was working on a new reailty show, Betty White's Off Their Rockers, which featured old people punking young ones. But earlier this year, NBC announced that they would not be renewing the show.

White currently stars on TV Land's Hot in Cleveland. For the first part of its season 4 finale, the show reunited the cast of the Mary Tyler Moore for an episode. Valeria Harper, Cloris Leachman, and Georgia Engel all appeared.
