Michael Weatherly teased fans with a new photo and song from the anticipated upcoming season of NCIS.

In the photo, Weatherly poses in a police officer uniform and a new hairdo. He captioned the shot, "Can anyone guess what's going on here? Season 11 #NCIS coming soon!!!!"

The 45-year-old also did some singing for the forthcoming season. He posted a song from the show's soundtrack called Under The Sun.

"Next thing I knew all this time came and flew right on through," Weatherly sings. "I lost my way, ruined day after day leaning back on shallow charms. Brushing back hope, like some lovesick dope, crushing on a childhood girlfriend."

The actor also previously tweeted, "And in closing... I will miss Cote most of all."

Weatherly recently spoke about the departure of of Cote de Pablo, who plays Ziva David, and he said her exit won't disappoint fans.

"I found the first two episodes immensely satisfying. I was very surprised by the things I read in those scripts," Weatherly told TV Line in a recent report. "I love working with Cote, she's awesome - but also it's been eight years, and we haven't dealt with it. It will be dealt with."

A melancholic teaser also hit the web in August, in which a concerned DiNozzo says, "Talk to me Ziva, where are you?" The video also reveals that an antagonist is attempting to wipe out the NCIS team and Ziva is the next target.

"Don't worry Tony, we will be okay," Ziva later tells Tony.

It's confirmed, however, that Ziva will not be killed off. Executives will find another way to say goodbye to the beloved character.

"It's not what this character deserves," the show's Executive Producer, Gary Glasberg, recently told TV Line. "Also, [we killed off] Sasha Alexander's Kate character [back in season 2] and I like the idea of doing this one a little different and respecting who [Ziva] is."

Season 11 premieres on Sept. 24.
