In Season 3 of Hawaii Five-O, Lieutenant Catherine Rollins' decision to switch jobs and work with a former boyfriend might cause Steve McGarrett to get jealous.

Peter Lenkov, the show's executive producer spoke to TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich about the upcoming season. Mitovich answered a fan's question regarding Catherine (Michelle Borth) and Steve's (Jack Lord) relationship:

"Show boss Peter M. Lenkov told me that Catherine will be going 'through a life change' as she leaves the Navy to work for her sorta-ex Billy's private security company - and with Steve's blessing. At least for now. 'McGarrett, not being the jealous type, is going to insist that she take the job - and he's going to end up regretting that,' Lenkov chuckles. 'You'll see McGarrett a little vulnerable, which is fun.'"

In the first episode, Aloha ke kahi I ke kahi, of Season 4, McGarrett will also break the law so he can find his kidnapped girlfriend Rollins (Michelle Borth). Steve and WoFat will also make a narrow escape from maximum security prison.
