As Saul "Canelo" Alvarez gears up for his highly-anticipated boxing match with Floyd Mayweather on Saturday, Enstars tried to find out more about the love of his life, Marisol Gonzalez.

Gonzalez is a bit of a celebrity in Mexico and is known for her own work as a model, sports reporter, and actor. The 30-year-old won the Nuestra Belleza Mexico -- a national beauty pageant in Mexico -- in 2002 and went on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant, which was held in Panama City, Panama in June of 2003.

Gonzalez is a sports reporter for Televisa Deportes. She made her acting debut with the Mexixan telenovela Contra Viento Y Marea in 2005.

Gonzalez also got noticed when she reported on media day for the Super Bowl XLVI; She was mostly appreciated for dazzling everyone with the red dress she had on and the press compared her with sports reporter Ines Sainz.

Alvarez will be fighting Mayweather at the MGM Grand on Sept. 14, where the two will be competing for the junior-middleweight world title. The tickets for the event -- which are together worth $20.03 million -- sold out in an hour. This is anticipated as being an epic sporting event.

Showtime will be airing the event in America. The television network, which has set up pay-per-view sales ($65 to $75) for the event, believes that the U.S. sales of the fight broadcast could break the record of $137 million set by the Mayweather-Oscar De La Hoya fight in 2007.

Showtime Sports Executive Vice President Stephen Espinoza said that Alvarez was a phenomenon and that the mania surrounding the match had really caught on. "The last time you saw this in this country with a Mexican-born athlete was probably Fernando Valenzuela. It's a similar-type hysteria in the Mexican audience," he added.
