Justin Timberlake along with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the 2013 MTV EMA Awards nominations with five nods apiece, announced Tuesday. 

Timberlake was honored in the categories of Best Male, Best Live, Best Video for Mirrors and Best Look. First-time EMA nominees Macklemore & Ryan Lewis compete for Best New, Best Song for Thrift Shop, Best Hip Hop and Best World Stage. The two acts go head-to-head for Best U.S. Act.

Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke all are nominated for four EMAs. Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus go head to head for the Best Female title, and both will be up against Robin Thicke for Best Video.

Taylor Swift secured three nominations for Best Pop, Best Female and Best Live. Other EMA nominees receiving three nods include Bruno Mas, Green Day, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Daft Punk, Rudimental, Icona Pop and One Direction. Harry Styles also received a nod for Best Look.

Artists with two EMA nods include Rihanna, Katy Perry, Eminem, Jay Z, Bastille, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Paramore, Rita Ora, Drake, Afrojack, Avicii, Calvin Harris and Iggy Azalea.

The 2013 MTV EMA airs on MTV at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, broadcast live from Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. Voting for EMA categories is open at www.mtvema.com and closes on Friday, Nov. 8.
