Kris Jenner Secret Sister, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Star 'Ashamed' Of Karen Houghton, Say Source [REPORT]
Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner reportedly has a secret sister that she is estranged from because she is "ashamed" of her and her history of being in relationships with criminals.
In the latest print edition of Star, a family insider with knowledge of the situation, spilled the details about Jenner's sister, Karen Houghton, and the men she dates.
The source said Houghton is a "down-to-earth sweetheart," who has repeatedly dated men with a criminal past. Jenner doesn't approve of them.
"[Houghton] certainly doesn't come close to meeting the glam standards that Kris likes to publicly project for her family," the source revealed. "That's also more than likely why you never see Karen on any of the family TV shows."
"Karen's relationships with such unsavory characters had to have been a major sore point with the Kardashian clan," the source explained. "Karen means well, but bringing violent cons into their family circle has made her a bit of a black sheep - especially to Kris."

The source spilled details about Houghton's rocky marriage to Mark Zettel, a man whom she was married to for six years. Houghton and Zettel parted ways in 2002 and have a 15 year-old daughter. Zettel is an alleged drug user with a lengthy rap sheet who repeatedly threatened Houghton and their daughter said the source. He was so abusive, Houghton had to request an order of protection to keep him away from her and their child.
Houghton wrote in her request that Zettel is on "crystal meth, psychiatric drugs, bipolar meds" and described him as "volatile, threatening, scary, [who] bullies me and my child," she wrote. "He will take my daughter away. He will find a way to make me pay for leaving him," she wrote in her petition.
Jenner is also embarrassed of her secret sister because less than two years later after she broke from Zettel, she had to request another order of protection from another abusive man, Steven Edward Thornton.
Thornton also has a lengthy rap sheet which includes 12 arrests for several offenses including burglary and theft. In Houghton's request for protection from him, she wrote that he is a "convicted felon, parole violator and crack addict," adding that she fears for her safety if he is not kept away from her.
"Kris is so over the top when it comes to being image- conscious," a family insider said about the reality star and daytime talk show host who has been rumored for pushing her daughters to date celebrity men.
Jenner's daughter Khloe Kardashian famously married NBA star Lamar Odom after dating one month and Kim Kardashian is dating rapper Kanye West, with whom she delivered their first child, North West, on June 15. Jenner's youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner is linked to Jaden Smith, the child actor whose parents are Hollywood A-listers Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
