Harry Styles' sexuality was questioned after reports suggested his friendship with BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw was more than a bromance.

Britain's Daily Star reported on Thursday that the One Direction singer recently slept at Grimshaw's Primrose Hill apartment multiple times instead of his multi-million dollar Hampstead mansion.

An insider told Daily Star that Styles stayed there because he hates to be alone. The teen has been staying during London Fashion Week after they attended several runway shows together during the past week. The gay rumors were fueled because Styles' rumored girlfriend, supermodel Cara Delevingne, has not been with him.

"Harry may have splashed the cash on his house but if no one's sleeping over, he hates staying there," said the insider. "It's depressing for him having the whole place to himself. He's used to having his band mates around because they're normally flying all over the world staying in hotels. So when he has free time in London, he now heads over to Nick's place."

The source said the 19-year-old playboy has also become really close to the 29-year-old's dog Lex and spends time with the pup in Grimshaw's spare bedroom.

"He loves cuddling up to little Lex when he stays over," the source revealed. "Harry, Nick and the dog wind down together on the couch."

Despite the reports of a rumored romance between the pop singer and the DJ ten years his senior, a rep for Grimashaw debunked the report on Sept. 19.

A spokesperson told the MailOnline: "Harry has not stayed at Nick's house once during Fashion Week."

Styles defused the rumor of a romance with the top model on Sept. 17.

"People talk about anything really, but we're just friends and stuff," Styles told the Daily Mail. She is a lovely girl."
