The controversial contestants on Big Brother 15 have apologized for the racist and offensive comments made in the house this summer.

Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman, who both made a series of racist comments in the house, have apologized for offending the viewing public.

Gries admitted that her comments were "very ignorant and insensitive" in her post-show interview with CBS 2 Los Angeles. "I wasn't thinking before I spoke. I definitely don't feel that way and I think that a lot of things were taken out of context unfortunately. I own up to it but it is what it is and I own up to it."

The college student/model was let go from her modeling agency in Texas because of the racial comments but Gries said she wasn't too concerned. Gries said that the agency "wasn't that great of an agency anyway."

Gries was in sequester from the outside world after being voted out near the end of the game. Zimmerman, her friend throughout the game, made it to the end and came in second place. Zimmerman was unaware of the public perception she had received and was unaware that she too was fired from her pageant coordinator job.

Speaking to Zap2It, Zimmerman apologized for her offensive comments.

"I'm really sorry, I really do apologize if anything I said offended people," she said. "I didn't mean to. I hope people can accept my apologies. I know it was pretty much wrong for me to do." Zimmerman admitted to Entertainment Weekly that being let go from her job was like "a stab in the heart."
