New Glee cast member Erinn Westbrook recently revealed some new details about the character she'll be playing in the upcoming fifth season.

Though her character name is not known yet, Westbrook revealed to Wetpaint Thursday that she would be playing a mean cheerleader in season 5.

"I do play a mean girl which is interesting because I like to think I'm a little nicer than my character. But it's been fun to play," Westbrook said. "I'd say she's stirring up a little bit of drama. You're going to see her being mean and rude and creating all sorts of antics."

The actress said that she loves being a "Cheerio," saying, "I can't say that there is anything better. It's been really, really fun wearing the uniform and being part of the cast."

Westbrook may be new to the Glee set, but the actress revealed that deceased cast member Cory Monteith's presence is felt on the set.

"There are cast photos around the set and I think they'll leave them there. They don't want to forget, they'll always remember," Westbrook revealed. The actress was quick to praise the positivity of the cast.

"Everybody has been extremely optimistic and I admire them so much for being able to push through and come together and work hard," she said. "They are such a talented group of people, I'm lucky to be part of this group now."

Season 5 of Glee premieres on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. on Fox. The first two episodes will exclusively feature music by The Beatles.
