New clips for the season 5 premiere of Glee were released Monday, featuring Rachel (Lea Michele) auditioning for a Broadway show and Sue (Jane Lynch) taking control of the high school.

Rachel gets a callback to play the lead in Funny Girl in New York City and is seen auditioning in the first clip. Rachel performs as the musical's lead female Fanny Brice with her trademark Brooklyn accent. However, the casting director quickly puts an end to her audition, telling her that it was "all we needed to see."

Rachel seems upset by the halted audition and fawns over her prospective co-star, who doesn't reciprocate her excitement. The clip suggests that Rachel may see her dreams of being a Broadway star dashed for a while.

The other clip features Sue Sylvester entering McKinley High with a grin on her face.

"Your prayers have been answered: Sue Sylvester is back at McKinley," the former cheerleading coach narrates in the clip. "Sure, I enjoyed my time away, but once Becky Jackson fessed up and started serving her month-long suspension, the school begged me to return. But I knew if I was gonna come back, I had to come back big time - in a next level way."

A student greets Sue in the hallway with a simple, "Welcome back Coach Sylvester," but Sue immediately corrects her, saying, "That's Principal Sylvester." With Sue as the new principal of the school, the glee club will surely be in trouble as they have been at odds since the series began.
