How I Met Your Mother began its march to the end with a special one-hour season premiere Monday night, but what else can fans expect this season?

According to hwhills.com, episode 3, titled Last Time in New York, will have plenty of drama.

The episode will focus on Lilly's frustrations that she is the only one who knows Ted's plans to leave for Chicago after the wedding, and she becomes more upset when she discovers the list of things he wants to do before saying goodbye. While she deals with that, Robin and Barney learn they don't have much time together at all before all of their crazy relatives arrive for the wedding.

Guest star reprisals will include Sherri Sheperd as Daphne and Wayne Brady as Barney's brother, James. Both made their initial appearances in Monday night's two-episode premiere.

The premiere, complete with flashbacks and looks into the future, showed Lily getting fed up with Ted's detours as they drive out to Farhampton for Barney and Robin's wedding. When she decided to take a train instead, she met "The Mother" character on the train. Meanwhile, Marshall was trying to make it back in time for the wedding, and Robin and Barney had to overcome two possible hurdles standing in the way of their happily ever after: their shared cousin, who could prove they're related and therefore they can't get married, and Barney's brother James dropping a bombshell about his impending divorce.

Ted has yet to officially meet the mother but there will still be scenes of the two together, according to E! News. The premiere ended with a look one year into the future showing Ted and "The Mother" checking into the Farhampton Inn together, very much in love, and sharing a kiss. There is no confirmation from CBS about when the characters will officially meet.

Fans hoping to learn the name of "The Mother" may need to wait a while. Despite having filmed a bunch of episodes already, even actress Cristin Miliotti doesn't know how her character's name.

"I have no idea," she said. "I don't know much of what's happening as the season progresses, but I don't know the Mother's name at all."

How I Met Your Mother continues its final season on Monday, Sept. 30, at 8:00 p.m.
