There is only one episode left of Breaking Bad and the cast is remaining tight-lipped on what will happen to Walter White (Bryan Cranston).

Cranston told E! Online in a Wednesday report that fans should be satisfied with the ending.

"[Fans] should expect that we will be very protective of our show and it's going to end in a very Breaking Bad manner, unapologetically," Cranston said. "It's going to be satisfying to all the fans."

The actor, who has won three Emmys for his role as Walter White, said that he is rooting for Walt to have a happy ending.

"I love Walter White!" he admitted at the awards ceremony on Sept. 22. "I inhabit the man and he inhabits me."

The main cast of Breaking Bad appeared on Conan O'Brien's late night talk show Monday and would not reveal anything about the ending. Cranston and Aaron Paul - who plays Jesse Pinkman - said that they've been jokingly revealing to people that "everyone dies" in the end.

The only clue fans can look into is a pair of promotional pictures that AMC released this week. One picture features Walt with his full head of hair and beard fully intact driving with a determined look on his face. The other features Walt inside a house with grass in the background, indicating that he has made it back to New Mexico safely.

At the end of the penultimate episode Granite State, Walt watched his former Gray Matter partners on a talk show distancing themselves from him, saying that he had no real clout in the company. This visibly angered Walt and caused him to leave his location, seemingly intent on seeking revenge on his former colleagues.

Peter Gould, who wrote the Granite State episode, told Entertainment Weekly recently that he could reveal the purpose of bringing Walt's former colleagues back into the story.

The series finale of Breaking Bad airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on AMC.
