In the second episode, A'ale Ma'a Wau, of Season 4 of Hawaii Five-O, Tim Daly will be guest starring as a Texas ranger looking for his missing daughter.

Daly's character visits Hawaii in search of his daughter and crosses paths with the Hawaii Five-O team of Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams, who are looking into a murder investigation. The synopsis of the episode also suggests that Adam Noshimuri (Ian Anthony Dale) and Kono Kalakaua (Zulu)  will run into problems and find themselves fighting for their lives.

"When Hawaii's best learns you don't mess with Texas," the voice-over defines the episode in the teaser.

The tag-line is corroborated with a joke as McGarrett asks a fellow officer to "saddle up," and Daly responds in a condescending tone, "Saddle up, really?"

In the premiere of season 2, Aloha ke kahi I ke kahi, which aired on Sept. 27, the major reveal was about the relationship between Wo Fat and McGarrett toward the end, suggesting they might be half brothers.
