Justin Bieber took to Twitter Wednesday to make an announcement about new music he is preparing to release.

In a movement he is calling "#MusicMondays," the 19-year-old singer will be releasing a new song every week at midnight for the next 10 weeks. Starting on Oct. 7, he will kick off the series with the long-awaited single, Heartbreaker. The plan leads up to Bieber's upcoming movie, the follow-up to 2011's Never Say Never

Bieber tweeted out the name of his first song to be released, Heartbreaker, and when his fans could expect the debut, saying:

Back in July, Bieber posted the first line of the song on Instagram.

"Ooh, girl, I got a secret place that we can go/ 'Cause girl, I really want to be alone/ And, baby, nobody else got to know," he sings on the R&B-influenced track. The tease for Heartbreaker started with the release of its cover art in June, which consisted of a crumbling purple heart. He re-posted the cover on Wednesday with the message, "Are you ready?"

Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, adding later that night, "So it begins ... #Sunday #midnight #10weeks #musicmondays -- expect the unexpected."

A release date has not been set for Bieber's next album, but Braun told MTV News in April that the singer has been working on the record since last year. Bieber's last album was 2012's Believe. He re-released and re-worked some of its songs for 2013'sBelieve Acoustic, which had several new tracks as well.

Bieber is currently on his Believe world tour. He is scheduled to perform in Shanghai on Oct. 5 before traveling to Japan and South Korea. He performs in Tokyo on Oct. 7.
