To the excitement of its fans, CBS' The Big Bang Theory is back tonight with an all-new episode, titled The Scavenger Vortex.

In last week's double-header opener, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) wind up forming a bond over missing Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) presence, as he had went away sailing with Stephen Hawking in the North Sea.

However, a betrayal of sorts stopped their connection when Leonard came home earlier than expected and Sheldon wasn't aware he'd already informed Penny.

Meanwhile, Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) came to the realization that their taste in men is strikingly similar while Raj is still attempting to get over his ex, Lucy (Miccuci).

The official synopsis for The Scavenger Vortex is as follows:

"When the entire gang competes in a scavenger hunt designed by Raj, it brings out the best - and worst - in everyone."
