One of the castaways of Survivor: Blood vs. Water was blindsided at Tribal Council in the latest episode.

Galang Tribe: Aras Baskauskas, Gervase Peterson, Kat Edorsson, Laura Boneham, Laura Morett, Monica Culpepper, Tina Wesson and Tyson Apostol

Tadhana Tribe: Brad Culpepper, Caleb Bankston, Ciera Eastin, Hayden Moss, Katie Collins and Vytas Baskauskas

Redemption Island Inhabitants: Candice Cody, John Cody and Marissa Peterson

The episode began with John reuniting with Candice on Redemption Island. Candice was disappointed but said she knew he would be too trusting of people.

The castaways then gathered for the Redemption Island duel. Candice called out Brad as her enemy now that they voted out John. Candice, John and Marrisa than battled in the duel, which involved racing across a ladder bridge, maneuvering a key, unlocking a key, and putting together a complicated puzzle.

John was first to finish and Candice was second, meaning Marissa was officially eliminated from the game. John gave the clue to Monica under the pretense of "targeting a Culpepper." She promptly burned the clue in the fire, saying she didn't want to put a target on her back.

Brad revealed that he might target Caleb next since he doesn't have a loved one in the game anymore. This way, he would show the other tribe that he's willing to make connections with them later in the game.

The tribes then participated in the Immunity Challenge, which involved the castaways diving down into the ocean to untie crates then build those crates into a staircase. They then had to work on a puzzle that would reveal a combination to a lock. Whichever tribe was able to find the combination and use their key to unlock their flag would win Immunity.

The tribes were neck and neck throughout the challenge but Tadhana fell behind during the puzzle, allowing Galang to win Immunity for the fourth consecutive time.

Brad told Ciera and Katie that Caleb would be the target at Tribal Council. Meanwhile, Caleb was concerned about Brad talking with Ciera and Katie. Regardless, the four guys told each other that Ciera would be the next to go.

At Tribal Council, Brad made a comment suggesting that players without loved ones would be safest to target next, which upset Caleb. Caleb told Ciera and Katie that he would be voting for Brad and implied that they do the same. The vote came down to a tie with three votes against Brad and three against Ciera.

A revote was held in which Brad and Ciera could not vote. Vytas switched his vote to Brad, which resulted in Brad being voted out 3-1. He then joined Candice and John on Redemption Island.

The next episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water airs Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
