Thursday night's episode of Glee will be the tribute to Finn/Cory Monteith as the show's characters come together to remember his life.
The episode, titled The Quarterback, begins a few weeks after Finn's death and features many McKinley High graduates returning to honor him. There will not be a revelation as to how he died nor will there be a funeral.
Instead, the episode's storyline will find the characters searching for Finn's stolen letterman jacket. Along the way, Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) will encourage the kids to pay tribute to Finn through song.
Rachel (Lea Michele), whose relationship with Finn had been one of the most significant storylines in Glee's history, will only appear at the end of the episode. She will be singing Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan.
Additionally, there will be a big moment with Santana (Naya Rivera) in the episode, as she will be getting "physical" with someone, according to E!Online. Santana/Rivera will be singing If I Die Young by The Band Perry in the episode.
Almost all of The Quarterback was shot using the first take of every scene, as the cast and crew had difficulty getting through the experience.
"I've never seen a crew that you can't continue shooting because they've left the room sobbing," series co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed. "It was very hard. I struggled even working on it because what they felt, not just about Finn but Cory."
Other songs that will be featured in the episode include Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, I'll Stand By You by The Pretenders, Fire and Rain by James Taylor and No Surrender by Bruce Springsteen. Listen to the Glee cast's versions of each of these songs here.
The Quarterback episode of Glee airs Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
