The Voice 2012 Winner Jermaine Paul Says "Nobody But Jesus!"
Jermaine Paul has been crowned the winner of "The Voice" 2012 in a dramatic finale Tuesday evening. Paul was a popular winner and after the announcement was made he said: "Nobody but Jesus!"
Paul was coached by Blake Shelton throughout the season, and it proved to be a winning combination, as he took the final vote after some fantastic final performances.
The winner, 33, is from New York and was formerly a backup singer for Alicia Keys and Mary J Blige. He was a consistent performer throughout the season and didn't once find himself in the sing-offs, and was consistently among the best performers each show.

On Monday night's final performance Paul captured fans' hearts with an amazing "I Believe I Can Fly", and the song was enough to allow him to beat off competitors to this year's crown and the $100,000 prize money. However, even more than that he will be delighted to have won a record deal with Universal Records.
The two hour special final show featured numerous performances including Justin Bieber, Lady Antebellum, Flo Rida, Daryl Hall and John Oates (Hall and Oates).
The final show saw Justin Bieber delight fan with a performance of his new single "Boyfriend". Bieber recently broke records for most views of his new single video on VEVO within the first 24 hours after release. Even though Rihanna set the record herself just days before Bieber smashed that record apart with his latest hit.
