Lauren Conrad announced via her personal blog that she is engaged to her boyfriend, William Tell. 

The 27-year-old former Laguna Beach reality star and her law student boyfriend have been dating since Valentine's Day 2012. After a year and a half, the couple is ready to tie the knot. 

Conrad took to her blog to express how thrilled she was and posted an image of her diamond engagement ring. 

"I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process," she wrote on Sunday. 

She later updated the post with, "William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes. Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment :-), XO Lauren."

The couple is already living together as Tell moved into Conrad's LA condo. 

"They are really excited they took this step. William knows he wants to marry Lauren," a source told Us Weekly back in September. 

Enstars reported back in June that Conrad revealed that she has been talking about engagement marriage to her mom and dad. 

"We aren't in a rush, though," she said. "My family loves him, so they love when we come to visit."

Conrad, who used to date Jason Wahler and Brody Jenner previously said that Tell understands her on levels that other people don't.

A wedding date for the now-engaged couple has yet to be announced, but rumors have it that wedding plans are already in motion.
