Krim Family Update: Marina and Kevin Say Baby Boy Felix is 'Doing Well' Following Birth
Marina and Kevin Krim welcomed a baby boy named Felix Harrison Krim a year after the murder of their two children and told those wishing them warm wishes that the newborn is "doing well."
The couple announced the news of their son's birth Oct. 11 on Facebook. Felix was born 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Kevin then took to his Twitter account to further talk about his child and answer to warm wishes from Vivian Schiller, chief digital officer for NBC News who congratulated him on the birth.
@VivianSchiller thank you Vivian! Felix and family are doing well.

The family wrote on Facebook that they were "filled with many emotions" as they "look to the future," in May, when they announced that they were expecting their baby boy.
Marina and Kevin revealed to the public news of Felix's birth on their slain children's Facebook charity page, "Lulu & Leo Fund." The couple lost their two children, 6-year-old Lulu and 2 year-old Leo, on Oct. 25, 2012, when they were allegedly stabbed to death by their nanny, Yoselyn Ortega, 50, in the family's New York City apartment. The murder took place while Marina was at swimming lessons with 4-year-old daughter Nessie, who was not harmed.
Ortega stabbed herself in the throat and was also found by the couple in their apartment when they returned home that day to find their children dead. Her trial date has not been set yet but she entered a not guilty plead and a judge sees her fit for trial, despite her attempt to plea insanity.
Leo's birthday was Sept. 30 and only a few days earlier the Lulu & Leo Fund announced it will host its first annual fall benefit - The Art of Healing - on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
