The Voice entered the Battle Rounds on Monday night, a process that sent several people home and relocated others to different teams.

The Battles, which will last from episode 7 until episode 10, pit two team members against each other to determine who performs a given song better. The winner advances to the knockout round while the loser either packs their bags or gets picked up by another coach.

The first song of the night was Jessie J's Domino (video) as performed by Team Adam Levine's Grey and Nic Hawk. Grey emerged victorious while reigning champ Blake Shelton saved Hawk.

The competition between Team Christina Aguilera's Amber Nicole and Timyra-Joi was the first to result in an elimination. After their rendition of Beyonce's Listen (video), Timyra-Joi was sent home.

Team Blake Shelton, which has produced three of the four past winners, also had a disappointing ending for one singer. Jason Aldean's Don't You Wanna Stay (video) proved to be just the ticket for Shelbie Z while Justin Chain was told to head home.

Following Team Cee Lo Green's performance of Justin Bieber's As Long As You Love Me (video), Caroline Pennell kept her spot on the R&B artist's crew while Aguilera saved Anthony Paul.

Once again it was time for Team Adam to take the stage. Tessanne Chin and Donna Allen battle over Emili Sande's Next to Me (video) resulted in Allen's elimination.

The last performance of the night was from Team Christina's Jacquie Lee and Briana Cuoco. Following their rendition of The House of the Rising Son (video), Cuoco found herself saved by two coaches. Both Green and Shelton were willing to take on the young singer, but Cuoco went with the more successful country singer.

The Voice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
