Church bells will ring in a upcoming episode of Revenge scheduled to air in December and the highly-anticipated wedding of the season will take place, though perhaps not without its struggles.

A promotional clip for season 3 of the ABC series, released in August, showed a flash-forward of Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) getting shot three times on her wedding day. Before the shooting she tells someone standing off camera "I'm sorry.". A gun goes off and she is then shown falling backwards overboard and into the ocean. The footage does not reveal who pulled the trigger, but viewers may find out who the shooter was very soon.

Emily's wedding will play out in episode 10 scheduled to air on Dec. 1, E! Online  reported. The episode's title is Exodus and considering the word's definition (a mass departure) fans are left wondering if someone will die or if The Hamptons will see some of its most notable residents leaving.

Emily is engaged to Daniel Grayson (Joshua Bowman) but there relationship is full of lies. Daniel finds out that Emily was romantically involved with her ex-boyfriend Aiden Mathis (Barry Sloane) while he was engaged to her and that she also bought Nolan Ross his home -- two things she did not tell him. Daniel also holds his fair share of secrets from his fiancée.

Emily still does not know that Margo tries to seduce Daniel and get him to sleep with her.

A promo clip for the Oct. 20 episode, titled Mercy, shows Emily getting into a heated discussion Daniel. He tells her "you walk out that door and I'm not gonna be here when you get back" and Emily fires back with "I thought you were better but you're just as wrapped up in your family's lies."

Revenge airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
