After Hollie Cavanagh was voted off American Idol on Thursday, many of the viewers who supported her were determined to now but for Jesica Sanchez, the last female remaining in the competition, according to comments made in Facebook.

"Lets vote for Jessica next week. We need a female winner this season! Men dominated AI for 6 seasons...It's about time to break dat record," said one user on Facebook.

"It's sad that hollie went home," said another person. "Now I will be voting for Jessica."

"Jessica better win, no more male idols!" another user commented.

Cavanagh landed in the bottom two with Philip Phillips Thursday night while Sanchez and Joshua Ledet were safe.
