Two of the stars of Under the Dome recently revealed their hopes going into season 2.

Speaking with World Screen, Dean Norris (who plays Big Jim) and Rachelle Lefevre (Julia) discussed what they hope to see from Under the Dome as they enter season 2.

"I'm going to encourage them to explore the whole insanity versus sanity thing because I think it's a really interesting topic," Norris said. "If you look at bad leaders over history and over time, they've done some really horrible things but in most cases that they think they've been ordained by God."

He added that he wants the writers to do more with the Rennie family, especially with Big Jim's belief that he had been chosen as the leader by the dome.

"Whose side is that dome on?" he teased, discussing the idea of exploring the relationship between the dome and the people.

As for Lefevre, the actress discussed the show more broadly and revealed her confidence in the writers to wrap the story up before it goes on for too long.

"I have faith that if people stay with us, they will get answers, but we won't drag it out unnecessarily when the time comes for the dome to either be revealed or go away or whatever happens," she said.
