For all those die hard "Gossip Girl" fans out there - the show has been renewed to go on for one more season. However, the show will only have eleven episodes in its sixth and final season. The hit teen show stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley.

The American teen drama which airs on the CW is based on the book series of the same name by Cecily von Ziegesar. The executive producers of the show are Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Bob Levy, Leslie Morgenstein, John Stephens and Joshua Safran. Safran recently departed the show and will be replaced by Sara Goodman.

Unfortunately, some shows had to be cancelled by the CW, including "Ringer" which stars Sarah Michelle Gellar. The show only lasted one season, drawing in a disappointing 1.05 million viewers. The news of the show's cancellation may be a relief to Gellar, since she announced her pregnancy last month.

The supernatural drama "Secret Circle" has also been cancelled, but die-hard fans of the show are trying to convince the network to continue for a second season.

Meanwhile, NBC's "30 Rock" , which has been running for six years, won't be cancelled yet but it is headed to its seventh and final season with thirteen episodes.
