To the excitement of its many fans, CBS' hit sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, will be airing its seventh episode of season 7 after a brief hiatus until next week.

The highly anticipated installment, titled The Proton Displacement, will be featuring the one and only Bob Newhart, who will be returning to reprise his role as Professor Proton.

The Professor will be on the prowl for some advice from Leonard (Johnny Galecki), which won't exactly be well-received from Sheldon (Jim Parsons), who feels discounted and gets upset over the matter.

In response to his own current mindset, Sheldon becomes friends with Bill Nye (appearing as himself), a rival TV science host.

The 84-year-old Newhart nabbed an Emmy Award in 2013 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for The Big Bang Theory.

Interestingly enough, it's the first time in his illustrious career extending over five decades that he's won the small screen prize, which he was nominated for seven times prior.

CBS' The Big Bang Theory will air its seventh episode of season 7 on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 8/7 p.m. Central Standard Time. Keep checking back for more of the latest info on the TV show.
