Eminem doesn't appear excited for his upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live with Kerry Washington, judging by the show's promo video released on Thursday.

After the Scandal actress says that she's hosting the show on Nov. 2 with musical guest Eminem, SNL cast member Nasim Pedrad says, "This is fun. Are you having fun?" An excited Washington replies, "Of course." However, Eminem doesn't share the same enthusiasm.

"And, Eminem are you having fun?" Pedrad asks him.

Eminem offers no verbal response and instead stares emotionless into the camera.

In the second promo clip, Washington attempts to engage the rapper. After she introduces herself and Eminem, Washington says, "It's going to be a great show and afterwards we're going out for cupcakes. His idea."

Eminem breaks his silence and says, "I love cupcakes."

Saturday will mark Washington's first time as a host, but it will be Eminem's sixth time on the comedy show. The rapper first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 1999 where he performed Forgot About Dre along with Dr. Dre. A year later, he made a solo appearance and performed Stan and The Real Slim Shady. In 2002, he hit the stage for Without Me and in 2004 he rapped to Mosh and Just Lose It. He also appeared on the late-night comedy show for the fifth time in 2010 to perform No Love with Lil' Wayne and Won't Back Down.

It's safe to assume that on Saturday Eminem might perform one of the songs from his forthcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

The rapper released several singles from the record thus far, including Survival, Rap God and his latest Rihanna collaboration The Monster. The album's lead single Berzerk, was also released in late August and it debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 hits stores on Nov. 5, three days after the Saturday Night Live episode airs.
