NCIS: Los Angeles' Marty Deeks is spending season 5 recovering from torture while actor Eric Christian Olsen spends his time off screen adjusting to being a new father.

Olsen and his wife Sarah Wright welcomed their son Wyatt on Aug. 16. As new parents, the pair has first baby jitters.

"I have a nine-week-old and, I mean, he's sleeping pretty well but you wake up even when he's sleeping," Olsen told omg! Insider. "I still wake up and I check, I run in and I run over to the side of the bassinet and I'm just like, 'He's breathing, he's good.' And then I go back to bed and I jump up again two hours later."

The 36-year-old actor is also preparing to be an uncle. Co-star Daniela Ruah and Olsen's older brother David are currently engaged and are expecting a son together.

"My brother does stunts on the show and they fell in love somewhere along the road," the CBS star said on omg! Insider. "I looked over and I was like, 'Wait, what's happening over there? Oh they're falling in love. This is happening.'"

Ruah's due date is sometime this winter, according to the Inquisitr, so Wyatt and his cousin will be very close in age.

'These kids are going to be probably in the same grade together so there's going to be two Olsen's just ruining things all over Los Angeles," Olsen mused about his son and future nephew, according to omg! Insider.

Olsen and Ruah can be seen on NCIS: LA, which airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
