The official court battle for custody of baby Connie begins on the Nov. 13 episode of General Hospital, as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) face off against Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

The two Port Charles couples will be fighting over who gets to keep Connie after all hell broke loose when the truth of the child's paternity surfaced. She is actually the biological child of Maxie and Spinelli, which Dante and Lulu were not aware of until they learned the truth at their daughter's christening.

The upcoming episode promises to showcase fighting tactics all around that could help enhance both couple's cases, especially in Spinelli and Maxie's case. Spinelli may be considering big plans to help cement himself and Maxie as parents worth considering.

In a preview clip for the episode, when asked what it was suggested he do to help his case, Spinelli replied "That I marry Maxie."

Meanwhile, Maxie is genuinely worried that she could lose this case, asking in the clip "What if I don't get my baby back?"

Storms, who portrays Maxie on the show, hinted in an August interview to the drama that would be unfolding for her character because she had lied to everyone about being Connie's mother.

"I think it's going to play out terribly for my character because there's no way she can be seen as being selfless in this situation...just because she's lied so much," she said. "...it's going to be a difficult road but she got herself into it, so she's just going to have to figure it out."

All of the lies Maxie tld could finally catch up with her now during the court battle, and could potentially affect whether or not she is allowed to keep her baby.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2:00 p.m. on ABC.
