VH1 announced the cast for the next season of Couples Therapy on Wednesday. For the first time ever, the show's producers have strangely added a person who is not in a relationship--reality star-turned-adult film star Farrah Abraham.

The new cast also includes other reality stars, a rapper and actresses from drama television.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong and her fiancé John Bluher along with Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosseline have also joined. The Real L Word stars Sada Bettencourt and Whitney Mixter, rapper Ghostface Killa and his girlfriend Kelsey Nykole will also appear.

Gosselin joined the show shortly after revealing in September that he has been waiting tables and living in cabin following his June 2009 split from Kate Gosselin. Jon, who once made $22,500 per episode, told ET in September that he has "hit rock bottom like 20 times."

Jon and Kate welcomed eight children together during their marriage. The family's reality show was  wildly successful during its run on TLC.

The choice of adding a solo Abraham has already drawn criticism in media. E! News writer Jenna Mullin wrote: "Usually people who appear on Couples Therapy are, you know, part of a couple. Again, if someone who has appeared in something called Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom can't hold onto a man, then we should all truly give up on love."

Dr. Jenn Berman will continue her therapy duties on the hit reality show. Season 4 will feature the stars being counseled on relationship throughout eight episodes.

Couples Therapy will premiere on VH1 in January 2014.
