Several celebrities decided to chop off their hair and debuted a pixie cut in 2013. See what these stars had to say about their new look.

Pamela Anderson: "I just thought my hair had had a life and I wanted to kind of put that behind me and start fresh," she said on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

Meagan Good: "I just needed the freedom. I just needed to do something that was liberating and something that I felt like had a little bit of an attitude. I'm doing what I wanted to do," she told E! News.

Kristin Chenoweth: "I did it for a film, for a part, and also I thought for my life it would be a good change," she told Us Weekly. "We're always trying to make our look different for different parts we play and I've been having that long hair for awhile and I gradually went shorter."

Beyonce: While Beyonce hasn't said much about her haircut, her former Destiny's Child bandmate. "Beyonce can have a strand of hair on her head and still be fine," Kelly Rowland told TMZ.

Alicia Keys: "I had been talking about cutting my hair for awhile and figuring out in which way it would feel right," she told Zap2It about going shorter. "I put out a song called New Day that's also on my album and I was just like, 'You know what, it's a new day, and I'm cutting this off.' So I did it."

Miley Cyrus: "Never felt more me in my whole life," she tweeted.

Jennifer Lawrence: "I cut it earlier, and it was just kind of like [shoulder-length] and it grew to that awkward, gross length, and I just kept putting it back in a bun, and I said, 'Well I don't want to do this,' so I just cut it off. It just couldn't get any uglier," Lawrence explained to Yahoo!.

Jennifer Hudson: "I just wanted a change, something different," Hudson recently told HipHollywood. "And I figured if I was gonna go short, it's like, you got to go all the way."
