Jessica Sanchez Will Win American Idol, Adam Lambert Predicts
Adam Lambert predicts Jessica Sanchez will win American Idol season 11 Wednesday.
Sanchez and Phillip Phillips are performing Tuesday night for the last time and the winner will be announced Wednesday.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Lambert explained why he thinks Sanchez will win.
"Her voice is crazy," said Lambert of Sanchez. "She's somebody I could see making really interesting albums."
This is not the first time Lambert shows his support to Sanchez. On May 5 he tweeted to Sanchez:
"Phillip [Phillips] and Hollie [Cavanagh] are terrific singers. I just think you kick their butts."
Other former Idol alums who like Sanchez are Kris Allen, Haley Reinhart and Kennifer Hudson.
Sanchez also has more than 400,000 followers on Twitter.
If Sanchez wins American Idol she would be the youngest singer to ever win the competition and the first female winner in 5 years.
Although many music critics agree that Sanchez may have better vocals than Phillips, his "stay-true-to-himself" attitude and rock star potential make him a strong competitor.
