Lorde isn't too fond with YMCMB artists Drake and Nicki Minaj and recently dissed them, saying they were "irrelevant" to the music world.

In a sit down chat with Interview magazine, Lorde expressed her concerns about rap music and its path pertaining to Nicki and Drake's rap label being managed by Lil Wayne and Birdman.

"Around the middle of last year I started listening to a lot of rap, like Nicki Minaj and Drake. YMCMB rappers create music that does not relate to most people's lives," Lorde told the magazine. "They all sing about such opulence, stuff that just didn't relate to me, or anyone that I knew. I began thinking, 'How are we listening to this? It's completely irrelevant.'"

Minaj and Drake aren't the first music artists who Lorde dissed. After she downplayed Selena Gomez, the Fly to Your Heart decided to fire back in a radio interview in Boston.

"There's two different kinds of criticism. There's the people that hide behind a computer and want to say endless amount of things but never say it to your face, and then obviously there are the vocal ones," Selena said. "I appreciate everybody's opinion, especially because I've covered her music lots of times. I think she is super talented and I think it's awesome. But I think at the same time that feminism and that specific thing is very sensitive because in my opinion it's not feminism if you're tearing down another artist. So that's the only thing that I feel but you know, she's young, she's got so much talent, she's gonna take over, she gets it, so I don't take it to heart."
