Eminem channels the fictional '80s British artificial intelligence Max Headroom in his video for Rap God, which premiered on Wednesday.

In the scenes when he's impersonating Headroom, Eminem wears a suit. But, in other scenes, Eminem is seen rapping while wearing a hoodie in a dark room full of fans.

Images of Bill Clinton, Rakim, Eazy-E and Run-D.M.C. also appear throughout the Rich Lee-directed video.

Many of Eminem's fans loved the video and let the rapper know via Twitter.

"Quite possibly my favorite video ever. Love the part where he levitates. Perfect," tweeted one fan.

"The video did the song justice it was so good!!! Rap God has been on repeat for days. Congrats on all the success, King!!!" tweeted another.

The song appears on Eminem's eighth studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which was released on Nov. 5. The record topped the Billboard 200 chart selling 792,000 copies in its first week of release.

The album became the second-highest first-week sales in the U.S. this year. Justin Timberlake still holds the No. 1 spot with The 20/20 Experience, which sold close to one million copies when it was released in March.

Eminem previously spoke about his new album with Rolling Stone and explained that The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is reminiscent of his old sound.

"So there's not gonna be, like, continuations of every old song on there or anything like that," he told the magazine in the November issue. "To me, it's more about the vibe, and it's more about the nostalgia."
