Texas native Selena Gomez returned to her home state on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, to perform at the Dallas Cowboys-Oakland Raiders halftime show.

The 21-year-old pop star from Grand Prairie, Texas, hit the stage at AT&T Stadium wearing gold gladiator sandals and a Marina Toybina fringe and leather skirt paired with a mesh and leather bodysuit. She sang a medley of songs off her Stars Dance album, kicking off her performance with Walk Like A Champion. She later stripped down to red leather pants to belt out her last song Come & Get It.

The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders also joined in for the performance, dancing around the stage as Gomez sang.

"Dallas! It feels so good to be home!" the former Disney star said before singing Slow Down.

"Happy Thanksgiving!," she said, breathlessly, after finishing the show.

The singer's performance marked the beginning of the Salvation Army's 123rd annual Red Kettle Campaign, a holiday drive that provides toys, food and shelter for families in need.

"Proud to be performing for a great organization today during the @DallasCowboys game. Support @SalvationArmyUS," Gomez tweeted earlier Thursday.

After it was announced that Gomez would be performing at the halftime show, the Getaway star said, "I'm from Texas, so I'm a little nervous, I'm not going to lie. But I'm very honored and I hope that we come-me, my dancers and my band-and we give Texas a really good show and I make them proud."

Gomez took time out of her Stars Dance tour for the halftime show. She goes back on the road in 2014 performing in Tokyo, Japan on Jan. 16 and 17.
