Patrick (Jason Thompson) may not have to worry about Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) getting in his way anymore if he does choose Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) over Robin (Kimberly McCullogh) on General Hospital.

The artist has been working for the Jerome crime family and as a result, may pay for it with his life. A preview clip for the Tuesday, Dec. 9 episode shows Carlos on his knees in the park as Sonny (Maurice Bernard) and Shawn (Sean Blakemore) stand with a gun pointed at him.

Sonny and his henchman picked Carlos up in an earlier episode and told him they would kill him as a way of sending a message to the Jeromes -- who Sonny can't actually hurt, despite their crimes against him.

"End it already!" Sonny shouted at Shawn in the preview clip. The next sound is that of a gunshot.

Carlos' bosses, Ava (Maura West) and Julian (William deVry), may notice he is missing and could begin worrying that Sonny will actually come after them as well.

"What do you want Ava?" Julian asked his sister in the clip.

"I'm worried about Carlos," she replied.

Meanwhile, Carlos isn't the only person who has potentially died. Franco (Roger Howarth) killed Heather (Robin Mattson) after she tried to murder Carly (Laura Wright). The formerly insane serial killer now has to hide her body before he is caught and presumed to be a criminal once again.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
