Will Apple's highly anticipated Macbook Pro hit the shelves soon? According to a report from DigiTimes, Apple has put in huge orders for its latest laptop, causing labor shortages in its supply chains struggling to meet the company's demands. There are reports that some supply chains are even outsourcing their orders in order to meet the demand in time.

May and June are considered to be the IT industry's traditional slow season but the massive order from Apple is getting too hard for them to keep up.

The rumored launch date of the Macbook Pro was set to be some time in July. And if these rumors are true, it seems that the production is in full scale to hit the target date.  Does that mean we will have a sneak preview of the Macbook Pro at the WWDC in June?

The new Macbook Pro is expected to come with a huge battery, an SSD boot drive and HD drive.  It will be packed with more battery power because the battery will be so big that it will take up the place of the optical DVD drive.  It is expected to come with the latest Ivy Bridge Processor and run on the latest version of Mac OS X, the 10.8 Mountain Lion.
