News on the upcoming sophomore season of Netlfix's hit show House of Cards continues to surface on the Internet, as the most recent chatter indicates that President Barack Obama was offered a cameo role on the program.

According to Deadline on Dec. 17, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings publicly asked the U.S. Commander-In-Chief while in the midst of a photo-op that took place at the WHite House on Tuesday morning where Obama had met with several company head honchos to address the problems associated with the Obamacare website.

The site reported that the President was heard querying Hastings on the popular program:

"I'm just wondering if you brought advanced copies of House of Cards?"

The CEO allegedly chuckled and "invited Obama to do a cameo on the series."

Obama joked by stating that "Kevin Spacey's Francis Underwood character gets "a lot of stuff done" and he wishes that things "were that ruthlessly efficient" in the real world.

Nothing have been confirmed as of yet on a potential Obama HoC appearance.
