Oscar winner Marlee Matlin will be guest starring on Glee in the second half of the show's fifth season.

Matlin is guest starring on the upcoming Nationals episode of Glee and she will be serving as a judge for the glee club competition. She will be playing herself. Matlin shared a photo of herself on Twitter Tuesday sitting in a chair embroidered with the Glee logo.

Matlin is deaf in real life. The actress won the 1993 Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Children of a Lesser God, becoming the only deaf performer to win the award. It remains to be seen how Glee will use Matlin as the judge of a singing competition.

Matlin also tweeted a photo of her with Glee regulars Darren Criss (Blaine) and Chord Overstreet (Sam), in addition to guest star Skylar Astin, who will be playing the leader of a rival glee club in the episode.

In other Glee spoiler news, the show's landmark 100th episode is shaping up with almost every cast member who has even been on the show returning. However, there is one person who definitely won't be included in the 100th episode: Sugar (Vanessa Lengies). Lengies has not been approached to appear in the episode, according to a new report by TVLine.

Lengies had a recurring role on season 3 and 4 of Glee, playing the singing-challenged Sugar Motta in 24 episodes total. The actress was cast in a new ABC show called Mixology, so it is unlikely that she will return to Glee.
