Though Nicki Minaj has been quiet on the music scene lately, she's been keeping quite busy on the acting one.

When she's not rapping or promoting her clothing line for Kmart, Moscato, or lipsticks, she's been trying out her talent in film. 

The Queens native is starring in the upcoming movie, The Other Woman featuring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton. The trailer, released on Thursday, features Minaj playing an outgoing and opinionated assistant to Diaz's character. The movie follows Diaz as she finds out that a guy she was falling for is actually married to another woman, Leslie Mann. The male giglo isn't just in relationships with Mann and Diaz's characters, as he is also dipping around with other women, including model Upton. Diaz, Mann and Upton then team upto get revenge against the cheater.

"Revenge has a threesome," the trailer's tagline reads as the three women plot to get back at Mann's husband--including feeding him female hormones that induce swollen pecs, a side effect of "man-opause."

The Other Woman was directed by Nick Cassavetes and is scheduled to open in spring 2014. Minaj, Diaz and the rest of the crew filmed the movie in New York City earlier this year.

Back in April, Minaj, who attended LaGuardia performing-arts high school in New York said that before music, theater was her passion.

"I may be working on something right now. I can't really say too much about it, but I definitely have the acting bug," Nicki told MTV. "That was my first love, so you just never know."
