According to iDigital Times on Dec. 23, "a likely candidate for the Royal sex scandal is Edward (Lachlan Nieboer), The Prince of Wales, whom Rose can be seen dancing with" in promo photos.

Edward's first love affair with a woman that's married is set to be highlighted five years prior to when he met Wallis Simpson as part of the series' Christmas Special. Whether or not he'll be accused of any wrongdoing as it pertains to the Rose situation has yet to be confirmed.

The site also goes onto state that Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) will reportedly be summoned to offer protection to both "the monarchy and his family."

Nonetheless, it still appears to be uncertain as to if the Crawleys are involved in any way.

In the episode, Rose is also set to have her debutante ball, as she'll be presented in London. The respective occasion will allow the Crawley family to head to Buckingham Palace where they'll mingle with members of the British monarchy.
