One of the characters on American Horror Story: Coven who was presumed to be dead is actually be alive and will be appearing in future episodes.

A new detailed synopsis for the 11th episode of American Horror Story: Coven was released via Foxfast this week. In the episode, titled Protect the Coven, Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) will try to "regain the trust" of a bitter Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe). This means that Queenie will have survived the massacre at Marie Laveau's (Angela Bassett) salon from the latest episode of the series.

Meanwhile, the Coven faces off against the Corporation who intends on eliminating their kind. This leads Cordelia to make a desperate sacrifice in order to fully protect the Coven, though it is not clear exactly what she will do. Later in the episode, Fiona (Jessica Lange) and Marie Laveau face off in a "deadly" conflict with the Corporation.

The episode will also heavily feature Madame LaLaurie (Kathy Bates), with flashbacks into her past and scenes in the present as she begins to realize that her actions are intolerable. She finds a "kindred spirit," who may be her salvation to getting exactly what she wants: to die happily.

Elsewhere, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) and Kyle (Evan Peters) attempt to have justice served, but the duo is stopped by a jealous Madison (Emma Roberts). Protect the Coven will air on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 10 p.m. on FX.
