NHL hockey fans can live stream Tuesday night's faceoff between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7 p.m. ET from the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Ontario.

Coming into Tuesday's match, the Maple Leafs have a 21-17-5 record. Despite having a strong start to the season, the Canadian team recently suffered a tough December with eight losses to their six wins. A victory over the Detroit Red Wings in the New Year's Day Winter Classic made it look like the Maple Leafs were off to a strong start in 2014, but a loss to the New York Rangers on Saturday proved otherwise. With 47 points, Toronto is currently fifth in the Atlantic Division.

Entering tonight's game, the New York Islanders have a 15-22-7 record. In spite of an impressive 21 defeats since the beginning of November, the Islanders have recently picked up their game. Recent victories over the New York Rangers, the Detroit Red Wings, the Minnesota Wild, the Boston Bruins, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Dallas Stars have helped give the Islanders a solid boost into the New Year. With 37 points, the New York team is currently eighth in the Atlantic Division.
