Apple fans worldwide are waiting in anticipation of the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro releases for 2012, and the new MacBook Pro is expected to land as early as this month. The Air's will likely be updated sometime in the next 6 months.

The upgrades will significantly improve the laptops, and latest rumors suggest NAND memory and SSD's will be featured in the newest versions.

Apple lovers are waiting for the WWDC 2012, which will begin in just over one week's time on June 11. Analysts believe that the new laptops will definitely be unveiled at the upcoming event, and that their release will spark a surge in sales for Apple laptops that will cause a slump for traditional PC's.

One particular area that the new Apple laptops will impress in is the use of NAND memory and SSDs. These new technologies are incomparable to the more old style hard drives (HHDs) still used by the majority of PCs.

The news is likely to be a further hit to the traditional PC market, as many have already begun switching to tablets and smartphones where larger PCs are not absolutely necessary. The latest Apple MacBooks are likely to contribute further to this slump.

In other rumors, it is believed Apple will announce further improvements to its iCloud at the WWDC 2012. Although the extent of the changes and improvements will not be known until later this month.

Will you be buying a new Apple MacBook Pro or Air when they are released later this year?
