To the excitement of its fans, AMC's The Walking Dead will be making its return in February for the second half of its fourth season, which will be treating them to some new characters, as Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) will make their debut.

Creator Robert Kirkman had dished to Screencrush about the three newbies set to come on board amid the land of walkers, as the now-disbanded group members continue to venture away from the now unsecure prison.

"We'll be with them [prison group members] on the road and on the run. They're bound to encounter new people," he said.

In the WD comic books, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the group end up meeting Abraham, Rosita and Eugene at Hershel's (Scott Wilson) farm, following the battle for the prison. Eugene says he's a scientist that has answers for what transpired and their en route to Washington, D.C. Rick and company make the decision to follow them.

While nothing has yet to be confirmed on how the group will ultimately interact with the new cast members, Kirkman has been known to stay true to the comics from time to time.
