Fans are surely excited for the February return of AMC's The Walking Dead which will be restarting up with several of the once united group members now dispersed amongst a slew of walkers.

A new promo image was recently released that shows Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) on a set of train tracks by themselves in the midst of the woods. The two appear to be in search for food or shelter.

As of late, there's been a lot of speculation surrounding the future status of the Grimes boys, who ventured away from the now unsecure prison in order to get to safety. To make matters worse, it's still unknown whether baby Judith is alive after Rick and Carl located her empty and bloodied baby seat.

Brand New Guest Stars Attached & Spin-Off Discussed

The Walking Dead is set to make its return to the small screen for episode 9, its mid-season premiere on Sunday, Feb.4 at 9/8 p.m. Central Standard Time.
