The co-creators of Once Upon a Time revealed many new details about season 3's second half this week, including more details on the Wicked Witch (guest star Rebecca Mader).

Once co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz spoke with TV Guide this week about the Wicked Witch, who will be the big villain through the remainder of season 3.

When asked if the Wicked Witch's arrival in Storybrooke and Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) being in danger were connected, Horowitz teased that it was a big possibility.

"That's an excellent guess. The Wicked Witch plays a huge part in the season half of Season 3," he said. Kitsis added that the Wicked Witch is a "bada- witch who knows how to get hers."

The co-creators also said that she will have a regular name but it won't be a name that has been used for the evil witch before.

"It's not like the play Wicked or the MGM movie," Horowitz stated. "We're using the books as a jumping-off point to do our Once twist on the classic characters of Oz."

The Wicked Witch will be shacking up with Regina/Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) in her castle, which does not entirely sit well the Evil Queen.

"You know Regina. How do you think Regina will handle someone sitting in her chair looking through her stuff?" Kitsis quipped.
